The Swatch Game - Dior Diorette 988

I had to dedicate a whole post to this one, for it is my one and only first Dior nail polish and I couldn't be happier about it.

Behold the beauty that is:

Dior Diorette (988) is the most perfect and the most beautiful wine-ish shade of red, your perfect Marsala.

And I can tell you this one's worth dying for.

It is considerable a more expensive nail polish than I usually treat my nails to, but...

The coverage is flawless and perfect (one coat is enough for short nails, but I'd give longer nails a second one for extra beautyness :)).
The shine you see is all its own, no topcoat was used during the making of this swatch.

Also I couldn't be more excited about my Christmas present to myself, because being this is such a classic shade, I shall wear it always and forever :)

I am wowed and... in trouble, 'cause I figure I'll have to get more Dior nail polishes in the future (yes, they're that good :)).

So what do you think? Did I lose my mind or was I a clever buyer?

Would you indulge in a more expensive nail polish if you thought it'd be worth it?

Or do you think you can do just as good with a more budget friendly one?
