The Swatch Game - Kiko Cupacke

I've got two pretty ones to show you and I'm glad I managed to at least swatch them for you before my nail broke. (If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen the drama -.-')

Kiko has launched a series of new collections - glitter, quick-dry polishes - but the one that caught my eye was the Cupcake one.

I don't much see what it has to do with cupcakes (am going to agree with sister on this one) because to me they rather remind me of milshakes than anything else.

Still and because they're gorgeous and adorable here's the ones I got - gotta control my polish buying insanity ;)

Here's Kiko Cupcake Gelsomino (No.647).
Okay, so this one doesn't remind me of a milkshake exactly. If I had to give it a sweets name it would be Jawbreaker! That's what this one reminds me of! :D

Beautiful macro shot in order, why of course.
Can you see all the coloured specks? There's blue and orange and now and again a bit of army green :))
In LOVE!
Two easy coats and super texturized finish!!

And this one is Kiko Cupcake Menta (No.655).
If there's a mint green, of course I've got to have it ;)

And another to die for close-up - can you see all the blue and bordeaux speckles?
I can't choose my favourite - they're both so gorgeous!!
Again, two easy coats - fast drying time: heaven on your nails :))

Hope you can get your hands on some of these - they're totally worth it and worth drooling over ;)
Now, I'm gonna treat my nails to spa to see if I recover from the shock and horror of my nail break :/

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sunny days - Spring is upon us, I can tell!! :))

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *

  1. Oh my gosh! Can't wait to be able to buy some KIKO once I'm in Germany :D It's one highlight of our move hahaha! These are beautiful :) And you are right, they do look like milkshakes, or some really cool frosting on a cake. The mint one is my favorite, I love everything mint!
Sorry about your nail break honey... I am sure they will grow back fast :)

  5. Oooh ... they are beautiful ... and I haven't seen them last time in Kiko's. I have to look next time *_*
They are really to drool over. The white one reminds me of that thick icing we get sometimes on cakes or biscuits.sweeet :-)
Anyway, hope your nail grows back quick! :-)

    1. Thank you so much, Moni - I hope they grow back quickly, too ;)
And make sure you check these next time - they're totally worth it! Even my sister is happy with them and she's been wearing them for a total of three days with no chipping (which is totally amazing in her case ;))

    2. I've seen them yesterday but didn't try them on my new blue mani... but Intried their neighbors in the shop, the glitter toppers :o)
So I've painted all free blue spaces (i unfortunately glittered four of them just an hour before...) with four toppers. I'll show them later today (hopefully) on the blog. Next time I'll go and try te cupcakes ones (I'm not shy in painting my nails with the testers *hehe*) I love the pistachio green one. I'm just not sure if the first one you show is all white or is it pale rose? Im not into the rosé stuff but like white.

Unfortunately my soft nails dont hold polish well and chipping comes often the first or the second day. If it doesn't, Ive messed the mani up before it was dry...*sigh* ^^
      I'm curious:-)

    1. Yay! They're both gorgeous, I admit! And don't be sad - you have such lovely brands in Poland. I love Catrice and I wish I could get my hands on the new collections when they're released and not a year later ;) hehehehe

    1. Thank you so much, dear!! They look even better in person and don't chip easily (my sister vouches for that part and she's a biter ;)) - if you can get your hands on them, totally go for it! ;)
