31DC2013 - Day 04: Green? Misterious Island!

Double posting would be great if this design had actually turned out good, which, sad to say, is not the case.

Either way and because I'm committed to seeing this challenge through till the end, I'll show you what today's green nails look like.

Apologies in advance for the bad photography and the really thick look of my nails - had to work in layers (and there were a lot of them) to achieve at least an ok look ;(

You've been warned!

*sighs*

I promise they didn't look as bad in real life!

I tried to make this mostly green, hence the sea around the island being light green but because I couldn't capture it properly you're unlikely to be able to see it... :/

I even tried a photo in the sun but... that didn't turn out any better, as the sun was setting and it had that orangey tone to it, which makes my skin look jaundice - hahaha ha ha...

So I leave you with a shot of my thumb, hoping, with some good will and a kind heart, you can devise this for less of a failure than it really is! ;)

Now, all I have to do is blow your minds away tomorrow... ;)

So sorry for today's somewhat disappointing posts, lovelies, but there are days when things just aren't bent to go in the right way ;)
