And that's what I bring you this Sunday, with lovely temperatures outside and a full sunny day, which makes your laziness come out ;)
Does what I wrote even make sense? Uh-oh! Someone got too much sun in their heads ;)
So, let's have a look at today's mani:
What's the perfect disguise for a gradient gone wrong?
G-L-I-T-T-E-R!!!
G-L-I-T-T-E-R!!!
hahahhah :D
I must be honest with you, as I always am - gradients are not my thing yet; they may sound like an easy technique but sometimes they just don't go the way I want them to.
And when that happens and I have no time to take it off and start again, I just grab my most beautiful glitter polish and it helps me get away with (almost) anything :)
I started with two coats of Flormal Light Summer LS04, which looks heavenly on the bottle but ends up being a pain in the nail jelly polish! Bah!
And it's so sheer you can see your nail after two coats! C'mon!!!!

So, I ended up picking up Flormar Super Neon N002 to try and achieve a gradient look.
Of course, I didn't like what I ended up with and had glitter come to the rescue ;)
This is Golden Rose Jolly Jewels No.123, a lovely most beautiful black and white hexagon glitter, with tiny silver microglitter as a base.
Does it look gorgeous to anyone else but me?! Oh yeah! ;)

Easy breezy lazy Sunday mani? Done! :D
I paired it with some simple knuckle rings just because I think I'm getting obssessed with the mani&rings combo (you can find them here btw)
Hope you lovelies enjoyed this one - let me know if you also think glitter is a great rescuer of manis gone wrong ;)
Hope you've had a superb Sunday and hope some good weather went your way as well!
People were surely looking happier around here, me included - what a few sun beams can do, hey? ;)

Hi Mina :) I am loving this mani a lot! It's simple, but with a small (glitter) kick. And I agree, gradients are not the easiest, but practice makes perfect. From what I see your gradient looks great and I love the colors you chose. With that glitter on top it looks a bit like ocean with small fish swimming around.
ReplyDeleteI am happy to hear that the sun is shining in Portugal and that you are a happy bunny :)
heheh - you're so kind, sweetie ;)
DeleteAnd I loved your comment - big ocean & small fishies included! I was a happy bunny this weekend indeed and I'm really happy your liked these - a glitter kick is always awesome **
