Can you see the last theme is abstract flowers? Sweet Paulina gave us the chance to go out with a bang! :D
And because I loved this challenge so much, I decided to make my abstract flowers look like stars!
Because, believe me, I learnt so much from this challenge's challenges! (haha)
Not only how to make things I'd never done before (sunflowers, tulips and poppies) but also because I learnt to withstand the frustration of not achieving certain designs on the very first attempt.
Nail art is a process and you're constantly learning - that's why this challenge, with all it made me face and overcome, has made me a better nail artist
Thanks, Paulina for thinking this one up!
*happy*
And now, onto the manicure I did in the afternoon for this challenge (had two today - check previous post ;))
Can you see the flowers in these simple star shapes? :)
Hope so!
It all started with two coats of Kiko 391, which is what I call an apple kind of green :D
It's gorgeous and quite opaque - honestly, two coats were just for the sake of habit - and it doesn't stain your nails like some greens do! ;)

Took my black and my white stripers - Kiss SPA12 Black and Kiss SPA02 White - and did alternate crosses with them.
To finish each flower and give it the minimal flower look, I dotted the center of each double cross with yellow, using Perfect Lady No.31.

I then decided these flowers twinkled so much like stars, I wanted some space in this mani - I know; nothing to do with anything, but, hey!, I'm crazy ;)
So, I picked up Kiko 255 and painted two coats. To finish and give it sort of that galaxy look, I sponged the tip with Essence Ticket to the Show.
And voilĂ !
What do you think? Are these abstract enough? And how do you fancy them?
Make sure you let me know down in the comments below and don't forget to check all the other designs for this final day of Flowers For Mom Nail Art Challenge :')

This is fab! I love the purple and the green's contrasting relationship and super creative having starry flowers. This mani definitely gets my seal of approval ;)
