Day seven has arrived with a design I have (finally) managed to be able do not so long ago.
Or... as it turned out with today's mani, one I haven't yet learnt how to fully achieve.
I'm starting to detect a pattern in me: whenever I go for a bold bright vibrant mani, the next mani I kind of unconstiously tone it down a bit ;)
I could have gone with other shades of blue - only my stash knows how many I actually own - but instead I went with soft pastel like polishes :)
All three polishes are from Anny:
Sky Bar, Top of Emotion and Sporty Snowflake.
and they are all lovely, shimmery, quite delicate like shades of blue and they go brillianty together, don't you think?
The square rhinestones on each nail are just a little touch to make it fancier ;)
And now for the reason why, as I said before, i don't yet master this 'technique'.
See my ring and middle fingers? Lovely, aren't they?
Now check my index finger - what happened there? I braided the polishes wrongly and went out of pattern! AND my thumb went the same way (check the first photo for proof) hahaha
...
*sighs*
Nevertheless, I'm actually quite pleased with this one - I managed to do the design on all of my nails and apart from the little 'ups' detail on index and thumb, I think they are an improvement from the first one.
The lines are straighter and I managed to make wider 'lanes', so... is this one a thumbs up for you?
Make your statement down in the comment section below and don't forget to check the other ladies' braided nails :D
Have a great Monday - don't let it get you! ;)

Mina *

ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteI had quite a relaxing day with these - and boy did I need that! ;)
I love it! And I really can't see anything wrong in your middle and ring finger. o.o Maybe I've gone blind! D: xD
ReplyDeleteHehehe - thank you so much, you're a darling! :)
DeleteMy middle and ring fingers are great, the problem is with my index and thumb - the pattern went a bit...wrong - haha ;)
I like it :) The colors are so beautiful and the whole design looks very dreamy and subtle!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Paulina! :)
DeleteSo pretty and delicate! Much better than mine. I especially love the square rhinestone.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Dionne :) Thanks to Marta from Chit Chat Nails, I learnt that a rhinestone can sometimes make a difference between a 'meh' manicure and an acceptable one - it makes it all so much prettier! ;)
DeleteAww I think you did a great job! such gorgeous colours too x
ReplyDelete:)) The polishes are indeed beautiful - thank you for your nice comment **
