40 GREAT NAIL ART IDEAS - Glitter Topper or Flakie: Patchwork Nails's 40GNAI post comes somewhat late (should've been up yesterday) because I'm not too happy about the nails I did and I was kinda hoping I'd have time to try again.

I didn't have time and before I don't post at all, I'm putting on my big girl panties and showing you what is a total nail fail:

patchwork nails

This week was all about a glitter topper or flakie and all the girls had a different technique they had to use with it.
Mine was patchwork nails, something I've never tried before, although I really love all the ones I've seen other artists do on their nails.

I wish I could say it's been a fun first time but I don't think I've nailed it.
These look weird and the colour combo is all weird and the patchwork patterns is all weird.... Everything is just weird about this mani.

Polish Alcoholic Shooting Stars

Actually, the only thing not weird about this mani and which had me fall head over heels is this gorgeous glitter/flakie topper I chose: Polish Alcoholic Shooting Stars.
I just recently got hooked on Sabrina's brand Polish Alcoholic and I'm truly loving her polishes. And have I told you I'm addicted to her awesome and yummy smelling cuticle food? I just got Pumpkin/B. Sugar and Snickerdoodle (going crazy over this one!!) and I've been alternating between both throughout the day - so in love!

As for this mani, I don't know what to make of it, but (as you can see by the lack of posts - last one was a week ago!) I haven't been feeling all that inspired lately, so that might have been it.

Nonetheless, you can find true amazing inspiration provided by the ladies in this challenge - just check the inlinkz below :)

Hugs & Kissies,
