Mosaic Floral Nails #A2Z - X is for eXtra Special

For today's nails I was inspired by Carmen's work, a friend I met not over a year ago.

She does belly casts for mommies-to-be and embelishes them - THIS is one of her most coveted piece. .
She does incredible art and her work is definitely and beyond doubt Xtra Special :)

Not only do you get a beautiful work of art you also get a memento of what's said to be one of the most amazing periods in a woman's life.

You can find out more her work HERE.

Here's my recreation of one of my favourite pieces from Carmen - you can see her original artwork HERE.
Isn't it a beauty?

I started with one coat of black polish with Inocos 0% Efeitos Preto and then dotted my entire nails in white with a dotting tool.

I then used the same colour scheme as Carmen and coloured in each dot.
It did take some patience and I can't even wrap my head around doing it (and so perfectly as she did it) on a belly cast.
It does make for a lovely effect, even more so, when looked slightly from afar.

I hope you liked this one and don't forget to check Carmen's page and work HERE.
Finally what xtra special thing would you paint on your nails? I wanna know!
