Inspired by a Flag tells me nothing really and I can't bring myself to choosing a country's flag to interpret it on my nails.
I always try to think of alternative flags to paint on my nails. But today nothing would do. I tried Beach flags first. I tried Diving flags after that. All of those were fails.
I contented myself with a flying racing flag, which... is what it is.
Here are my flying in the wind racing flag nails.
Yes... I know.
I'm terrible with translating real proportions on my nails.
I wanted to make these like the flag was being blown by the wind but I couldn't make them curvy enough to give off that impression :/
In the end, I settled for what they were and gave up.
I'm sorry, everyone. Maybe the whole challenge is having its toll on me ;)
It's been 28 intense days so far - there's only two (actually three) more to go - and I won't give up now.
But today I just felt like calling it quits. I backed down though and here is today's post, even if I don't like it that much ;)
I hope you've had a fabulous still sunny Sunday, lovelies, and I wish you a great week ahead <3
Hugs & Kissies,

P.S. check last year's flag nails - they're way better ;)
Last Year's Inspired by a Flag Nails:
You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, I like them and I'm really impressed with the wind effect. I think it's important to post the "fail" nail art as well because there is always someone who likes it and has something good to say about it. But I know what you mean, I got so lost when deciding what to do for the flag prompt.
ReplyDeleteI like how these turned out a lot!
