Again.
Well, I got tired of waiting for Spring.
And I've decided to mind the weather forecast on my nails instead.
Now, isn't that a lot more pleasant?
Ahhhhh.... :))
It all started with this piece of awesomeness right here: Kiko Acid Green (No.297).
I then went for a soft green gradient, using also Sally Hansen Green with Envy and Kiko Grass Green (No.391).
The flowers were a one-stroke fail but if I look at them abstractly I can still find them beautiful ;)
And I finished it all with some white dots for cuteness ;)
Although these were wonderful to wear today and even though I got tons of compliments on them (my own mother included - that's rare, trust me ;)), they were a pain to photograph!
The green made for a very difficult background to photograph accurately and I ended up a very frustrating nail blogger because they took so long to edit - ish! what a nightmare!
Apart from that tiny annoying fact, I hope you've liked these. Is Spring upon your doorstep yet? Or are you being kept away from the sun and warmer temperatures also?
Let me know all about it in the comments below and make sure you have yourselves a fine evening.
Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *
Your flowers look so good! I want Spring to come now too!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lisa!! And that makes two of us ;)
DeleteThose nails are fabulous! I don't see any fail on the flowers, on the contrary! They look beautiful, and all the colors look great together! I would never take this off! :p
ReplyDeleteAww, sweetie! You're fantastic! Thank you so much!!! <3
DeleteThis manicure is so great! Wow! And I don't understand where you see a fail... :p The flowers are really stunning.
ReplyDeleteBatmomo, thank you so much for such a encouraging comment! -
DeleteI just don't think they're not detailed enough - one-stroke is hard for me ;)
Ooo these look fabulous, I can't see the "fail" you were talking about :P Spring is officially on your nails!
ReplyDeleteYou're so lovely! Thank you so much!! To me, it just doesn't look as awesome as I've seen 'real' one-stroke artists do them, that's why ;)
Deletegreat manicure! The green is super bright, absolutely awesome!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you like these, Lucy, and the green is truly awesome - agree!! :)
DeleteThank you so much **
*_* the Kiko green I looove greens like that ... and your painting .. perfect *_* no fail at all! It reminds me of the tropic holidays I've never had (yet?) Its more summery than spring for me, but that's alright to me :o) ive never tried these one-stroke-thingies, neither on canvas nor on nails. Maybe one day? First I have my mermaidish mani planned (remember?)
ReplyDeleteAww, Moni, thank you so much, darling! I'm with you on the 'the tropic holidays I've never had' feeling ;) hehehe
DeleteI do remember about your mermaidish mani and can't wait to see that one :))
I found the "scales" recently in my big nail art box and hope to do them next week... I haven't done any of these placing-jobs yet and so I need a few peaceful moments so they don't land anywhere but where they're supposed to ...;-)
Deletehhehe - I get that, too! And so you know, sticking your tongue out while placing it, really helps! hahaha Bf always mocks my mani-concentrated looks ;)
DeleteHave fun, darling!
Beautiful mani! That green is knockout!
