The Swatch Game - Thermal Polishes from Layla

I've talked about these a while ago, but because I don't like to just swatch the polishes right away and be done with them, it usually takes me a while to post the swatches.

Usually I wear them on my right hand, experimenting how long they last, if they chip easily and how many coats make for a pretty look.

Although lovely - I mean, they change shade, how cool is that? -, these polishes don't pass the endurance test, though. Not one of them went through the second day without chipping, so, consider yourselves warned! :(

Other than that, the application was smooth: two even coats for each of them, and they don't take long to dry, which is good.
However, you might want to have a good shiny topcoat available - they tend to dry kind of matte.

Let's check them out then:

Layla No.1 (original names, I know).
I wasn't too impressed by this one - as you can see, it's hard to tell the different shades appart.
I didn't notice too much of a change, although this is quite a lovely blue shade, per se.

Layla No.2
Gorgeous acid lime green that changes into deep forest green? And this vibrant?
Oh, please, give me some more of that! :)

Layla No.6
My favourite of them all - so feminine and delicate and just plain cute! >3
Plus, it's the one which shows the greatest difference in shades.

FUN FACT: to take these photos and in order to capture the colour change midway, I'd hold a frozen tomatoe in my swatch hand for 2min and then take the photo ;) hehehe

What do you think of these? Have you got any similar ones?
Let me know down below which is your favourite and I'll be seeing you tomorrow.

  1. N° 2 and 6 are phenomenal!!!
I have something like this from BPS that changes between fuchsia (^_^) and natural pink.
I have only one cold/hot changing nail polish but I think this type is so fun.
    Cold tomatoe? hehe nice idea!!!

  5. First of all, great swatches sweetie!! Really impressed :) And the color of the individual polishes are so stunning, but you're right, the one that shows the transition the best is the pretty purple one :)
