You know us polishaholics - it's a rare thing to see us in public with naked nails ;)
So, I'm here officially launching the «Mina's Simple Manis» series (I first thought about it here)
You see, sometimes I do simpler manicures, easy and quick to accomplish and I rarely post them for you.
It's a lil' something I'm experimenting with, and I need your input.
Now, I know some of you are either discreet ladies, who don't like to go about with, let's say, Winnie the Pooh on your nails, or busy ladies, who don't have the time to sit for two hours, for the sake of nail art.
I've then come up with this series, hoping to inspire you, too ;)
Let me know if this is good to go and if you'll be enjoying looks such as this one and let's get to it then:
All you need for this one is your favourite polish (it can be any finish you like) and some round studs.
I chose Kiko Sugar Mat Wine - if you've seen my last post, you know this one was my favourite from the set :)
I mean, just look at this beauty. It will take you two coats for maximum opacity - the one coat doesn't work on this one.
I let it in its pure form, but of course you can topcoat it for a shiny smooth finish, if that's what you like best.
I just love the rough feeling and I can tell you I spent the rest of the day petting my nails (as usual ;)).
I was going to apply only one rounded stud in the middle, but got carried away and did a little sun, instead.
I guess it was almost like a prayer, seeing the weather has been so bad lately (it didn't work, though :/)
To apply the studs, simply put on another coat of the polish and quickly pick up and place the studs. If you notice, the center stud is slightly bigger than the other circling it, although I think this would work even if they all had the same size.
Ohhh, wait! Now that I look at it, this also look like a flower :)
So, what do you think? Sun or flower? And would you rock this look?
Let me know all about it in the comment section and I'll be seeing you lovelies, tomorrow.
Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *
