Today's Flowers

... were inspired by the ever amazing Japanese nailartist Hana4.
She's got the most fresh and amazing ideas and her tumblr (click here) is one to make my day a happier one!

I think almost anyone can feel inspired by her as she's got mani styles for nearly all tastes - from the funkiest to the sweetest, to the most artistic and simple, to just plain quirky. Gotta love this girl! *.*

So, as I was saying, today's flowers were inspired by this manicure of hers - check it out here.
Have a look on how I recreated it:

I went for my favourite two parts of her design and had to be inventive about the studs
(I own none whatsover).

I started by painting all my nails white (Bellaoggi Snow White) apart from my ring finger and thumb, where I used Bellaoggi Plastic Blue.
I then did the French tips on my index and pinkie with my favourite, brightest red: Serenna No.002.

I proceeded with the background for the flowers in the same colour scheme, using acrylic paints and added a golden square rhinestone to those nails as well.

The sea shell accessories on my pinkie and index finger are from Born Pretty Store (see here) and I've been wanting to try them for ages, they're so cute! :)

And that's it! Hope you've liked my recreation and make sure you check Hana4 for really cool and original nail art!

Hope you've had a most fantastic Sunday - muacks!

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *

  1. Sweetie, these are absolutely breathtaking! I just love your middle and ring finger and these little rectangular boxes with flowers :) I think your recreation is better than original :) You did it again and with each nail art you make I want to say it's my new favorite! But it's true :)

  2. These are really sweet! I got a fashion vibe from this, so it was interesting to see the original collage. Yours are still different though, just enough Mina in there to make them yours :)
