It's Called Argyle!!

As I promised you all yesterday, this week will be dedicated to cosy, fluffy winter sweaters.

I chose to go from easy to more complicated (I mean execution wise), so today's pattern is Argyle:

Mind you, Argyle is NOT easy (and I really do need to work on my geometrical drawing skills) but I cheated a bit...
By cheating I mean I just did one Argyle stripe in the middle of two of my nails - lazy you'd say?
Hey, I'm a two job girl right now!! And I need my sleeping - hehehe ;)

I painted my thumb, index and pinkie in Bellaoggi Flora Green - you can check its pretty swatch here.
And I reserved Bellaoggi Snow White for my middle and ring fingers, so I could make the pattern pop more.

I then took my acrylic paints and nail art brush to try and draw the diamond shapes that form the base of the Argyle pattern. I chose a forest green, a nice purple with hints of fuschia and a fresh minty one, too.
Now, let me tell you! This wasn't as easy as I though it would be! And I just know I'll have to do this one again, with more perfect lines! :D

Last but not least I took a striper brush and my prettiest soft golden polish (Inglot No.223) and crossed each diamond shape once.
Overall I like this look but... I'm feeling bad about the cheating bit!
hahaha - promise I'll do a for real one soon! ;)

Nevertheless, let me know what you think of this one - how do you think I did for a first time with this pattern?

Hope you're having a great day.

Hugs & Kissies,
