Keep It Simple And Carry On

I love painting my nails, working on nail designs and actually if you were a telepath you'd be likely to catch me daydreaming about it at work ;)

But alas, life doesn't always leave us much choice and each day only comes with a 24-hour package.
That's why whenever I see, hear about or guess at easy, simple, fast yet cute mani designs, I have to try them out!

Today's mani was to test Cutepolish's idea to use a glitter topcoater a quick galaxy nail design - click here to check the tutorial! -  she does have some great ideas for such manis ;)

You know how excited I was the first time I did galaxy nails (click here to see what I'm talking about), so of course I had to try this one out :D

And yes it works!! And it looks purrty!!!
Oh, galaxy  nails!...
<3

I started with one coat of black polish over my base coat, using Purple Professional No.18.
You'l probably notice my black and white polishes are always the same - not because they're ever lasting, but because they're so good that I keep purchasing them ;)

Next up, I went over the black background with mini sponges carrying first Kiko Turquoise Microglitter and then Kiko Sparkly T. Pearly Amethyst.
These are shimmery translucent lightblue and lilac polishes and they add a great effect, without you having to use a gazillion colours ;)

To top it all off I used a glitter topcoater, which has white and black hexagons, which account for planets and stars in no more than 10seconds - I used Golden Rose Jolly Jewels No.123.

And ta-da! A gorgeous mani completed in less than 15min - how awesome is that? :D
Mind you I only did my left hand - my right one is always portraying something different: leave me a comment if you want a photo on FB of what my right hand looked like today ;)

Will you be trying this one out? I promise it's worth it! <3
Share it on my FB page if you do and have a lovely evening, you all!

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *

ps. I ended up not showing my right hand - darn you 24-hour days! How come you don't have an added 2/3 hours? ;)

  6. Everlasting polish?? LOL! Ok xD I love them! :) And clearly, you have to continue to make galaxy nails haha :p I don't particularly like the Golden Rose JJ top coat because I'd settle for a holographic one. Kisses,

    1. hehehe - if they're good, trust me, I'll just keep buying them, until they don't make them anymore (and then I get angry :P)
Holographic is also a great idea - must definitely try it! Thanks for the tip, hun! :D
