That said, my inspired by a tutorial nails are also quite on the simple side, seeing I didn't have the time on Sunday to do anything more elaborate.
Still, the look is quite cute to look at and considering it isn't all that hard to make, I'd say it's totally worth it! :)
I went for my Nail Tutorials folder in Pinterest and chose this cute mani.
Here's how it turned out:
What do you think? Good one?
It was while editing the photos that I noticed my nails captured me and my pink umbrella - hhahaha - can you see the reflection? ;)
I started with my favourite black polish - Purple Professional No.18 - this baby is a one coater and a gorgeous one at that! :)
Love that it's so opaque in just one go!
Love that it's so opaque in just one go!
I then took my acrylics in pink, purple, green, turquoise, gold and white and did the needle point like crosses as explained in the tutorial :)
I actually loved how this looked and I'd say it's a cute way to spice up the darker colours of fall and winter ;)
Hope you've liked this as well - today's the final day to 31DC2013 and I'm afraid I won't be able to post my last mani.
However, seeing I've skipped some days - life gets in the way sometimes - I'll be posting all of those in the days to come ;)
This was fun to make but quite stressful at times - juggling a 9 to 6 job, romantic dates and outdoor activities on weekends with an everyday nail art schedule is sooooo hard!
(But still worth it ;))
(But still worth it ;))
Hope you're having a good one!

ReplyDeleteThese are so simple and so cute :) I am loving your pink umbrella! Yay :) I hope it doesn't rain anymore in Portugal. And I think you did great in this challenge and I hope that you don't regret joining :)
Thank you!!! :D
DeleteAnd, sweetie, I had the greatest of times! If it weren't for you putting me up to this, I wouldn't have engaged in so much nail art as I did, so Thank You!!!
Of course I don't regret it! I've loved it even if it was stressful at times ;)
ps.The rain keeps falling down our heads - it's a non-stop thing (it's been so for four miserable days now - buh-uhh!)
Whenever I think that rain is boring, I think about last year's drought and remind myself that sufficient rain is very important for crops and, in turn, our survival.
ReplyDeleteBack to the mani:
A good one?
You betcha ;) !
Honey, you're absolutely right! I must remember to think that way more often ;)
DeleteThank you for reminding me and thank you for you comment - glad you liked it! **
