Two for the Blog of One!

As you know, I wasn't feeling too well yesterday and because I didn't know if I'd feel beer today, i went ahead and did a combo mani, which is basically two different manis on each of my hands.
That's what we have two hands, right? ;)

I'm feeling a bit better today - thank you all for your sweet words :D
And I'm glad I did the two for one, because the time I took to rest and relax actually helped :)

So today's post is nothing fancy. It's a simple vertical gradient and, since it's a combo mani, I wore the same rainbowy polishes from yesterday.

Hope you like it anyway ;)

Gradients used to be part of my nail art nightmares list so I'm actually proud and happy to say they're not all that anymore :)
You may not be able to see it in my ring finger and pinky but there's actually two different shades - lilac and neon pink. Photography is still my weakest link - haha ;(
I've used Linda Johansen Lilac Lilly and Flormar P054 for those.

Then I got some orange and yellow, which made for a more noticeable gradient and a lovely sunset effec, I should say :)
I've used Inocos Laranja Txaran and Perfect Lady No.31 for those.

Last, but not least, my favourite nail - the thumb! :)
Sorry it's a bit shorter than the rest of the nails but I chipped it and had to make it right ;)

I've used both neon blue (Flormar Neon N002) and neon green (Golden Rose No.86) and I think it came out lovely! <3

The only thing, if you look closely, are those little particles, which you might think is some sort of top coater but is actually nothing more than... 'pores'!
Yep, that's right, when gradienting, sometimes the sponge creates tiny microscopic holes in the layer I'm dabbing and although I normally find it rather annoying, I actually think this one took on a cool effect :D

Has it ever happened to you?
Hope you've liked this one - it was a rainbow weekend hehe ;)
And once again, thank you for helping me feel better - you're beyond awesome <3

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *
