Different Shades of Blue Autism Awareness Challenge Day 9 – Blue Plastic Wrap

Nail Art Challenge

Yes! On the final day of this challenge I got to try a new (to me) technique!
Plastic wrap or Saran wrap is meant to give you a beautiful effortless polished marble effect :)

And this is how my mani started off, a good start if I  may add :)

Isn't it a beautiful effect?
And to think all you have to do is dab a bunched up like a ball bit of saran wrap in a blob of polish and press freely on your nail - LOVE IT! :)

I did these over one coat of white (Purple Professional No.32)
and using three different blue polishes from Coral: No.406, No.101 and No.414.

I loved it to bits but sometimes I can't just leave a fine manicure be ;)
So... I added a few things:

Whooooooo - somebody didn't hold their horses!
Hahaha! I went crazy with my black and white stripers :)
I don't know whether I like it or not, haven't decided yet, but it's definitely different from the way it started! ;)

This is what's so amazing about nail art - to think you start with a discreet, clean, elegant mani and you end up with something crazy and vibrant and totally eye-catching!

Oh, how I love nail art! :)

What do you think? A bit too much?
Oh yes, btw please excuse the yellowish skin tone - these were taken as the sun was going down and you know what that lightning does to you (even more when you're my skin tone haha)

Anyway, comment away down below - I want to know how you feel about this one and what your feelings are about nail art. Do you ever get carried away? ;)

Don't forget to check the other ladie's manis and...
Happy Friday!!!!! <3
